Excellent post Thea! I sleep well and have always taken it seriously. I have my platform bed, nothing underneath, no headboard and 9 inches from the wall at my head. A dark sheet over the closed blinds. Cool, dark, quiet, NO TV, phones nor digital clock. No snooze button. Only my bed, small night table with a small lamp with incandescent low watt bulb, Ganesha- remover of obstacles and some cotton head bands if I need an eye mask. In my bed around 8-9 cat Hamlet sleeps at the foot of my bed. Alarm at 5:30. do one or two meditations, then out of bed before 6.

Ganesh- love that story.

You are in bed a lot earlier than me, but I am getting better. I used to be a 2-3 am girl. Yikes.

The mornings really are wonderful when you don't sleep til 10: am. LOL
